Regional Sales Manager - Asia

Position Reports to:   International Sales Manager

Position Supervises:   None

The Regional Sales Manager – Asia must be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Shelton, CT

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop sales plans to penetrate existing and new markets in Asia.
  • Manage country managers to achieve annual sales budgets.
  • Develop sales plans for distribution to penetrate key markets.
  • Conduct on-going training to licensees and distributors of FSP.
  • Audit licensees annually to protect Five Star formula compliance.
  • Conduct technical seminars as required to enhance specifications.
  • Manage IIR to ensure major projects are penetrated.
  • Provide job site technical service as required.
  • Conduct annual planning meetings to identify weakness in distributor and licensee.
  • Prepare, in a timely manner, all required paperwork, including monthly reports and trip reports.
  • Comply with all Company Protocol when representing Five Star Products, Inc.
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities (Birth to Death)
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
  • Manage expense reporting


  • Minimum 4-Year Degree in Business or related discipline
  • 5+ years in building materials
  • Ability to communicate, present, and negotiate at all levels
  • Project management skills, problem solving, organizational and planning skills
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed both domestically and internationally
  • Fluent in English required
  • Fluent in Spanish required
  • Fluent in Portuguese desired
