Hi there! I’m Ian Matheson. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined the team at Five Star, bringing along over 30 years of rich experience from different corners of the building materials industry – from distribution to manufacturing and contracting. My passion and expertise are rooted in structural waterproofing, grouts, and concrete repair, and I’m proud of the diverse projects I’ve been a part of in places like Dubai, Libya, Russia, and the UK.

I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to be deeply involved in both new build and refurbishment works across various sectors in the UK – marine, construction, and highways. And it doesn’t stop there! I’ve also supported essential repair projects in offshore energy, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical plants in some amazing places like Grangemouth, Great Yarmouth, Montrose, Shetland, and St. Fergus.
